UNEXTINCT Echoes of the Wild offers a transformative spatial and immersive experience on Apple's VisionOS.

Delve into a world where extinct and nearly extinct species thrive through interactive and meditative explorations. Begin your journey at the Spirit Nexus and learn through the Almanac about each species' history and conservation. Engage with lifelike 3D models in the specimen viewer, enhancing your awareness of wildlife conservation.

The Experience & The Story

UNEXTINCT Echoes of the Wild is an Apple Vision Pro spatial experience that takes the player into a parallel realm where the wild spirits of extinct and endangered animals roam wild and undisturbed. This immersive journey is not just a game but a spiritual and educational odyssey. The experiences aims to bring awareness of wildlife and ecosystems to the players through wild exploration through level design, stories through interpersonal encounters with the animals and interactive information seeking.

The Wilds

The "Wilds" takes the player through a portal in their space and into a parallel dimension. A fully immersive game play that begins at the Spirit Nexus - the conjunction of all realms. From there, the players, guided by a spirit guide, venture forth into a realm of their choosing to experience the wonders of the biome and the creatures it is home to. Through this immersive/ VR journey, the players come face to face with animals and may have close contact encounters with the creatures who react to their presence. By interacting with 'information markers', players collect fun facts about these creatures and save this information to the Almanac.

The Almanac

The "Almanac" is the working collection of knowledge and information about plants, animals and other significant environmental elements that the player discovered through the course of the gameplay through discovering information markers in the levels. The purpose of the Almanac is to encourage learning and information seeking as well as isolating the key characters and species of the game. The Almanac feature is an exclusively shared spaces feature. When the player choses to ‘unfold Almanac’ the full immersion experience is paused and exited to return the player back the shared space (MR) and launch Almanac.
